Valve box on completed filter drum

Showing the drain, and matala in the backround just like the other 2 mech. filters on the other side of the pond.

Filter pad chop job

I went through the back of my skimmer with a uniseal to hook 4" pipe to the skimmer. It butts up against the filter pad and I will most likely have to cut a 4" hole in the pad itself to avoid flow restriction. but I want to try it this way first. Its possible... no likely that with 5000 GPH through the skimmer that I will have to do without this pad altogether, thats is why I have that drum filter downstream. If the pad works though, I would much rather clean it every day than go without the extra filtration.

Hard wired at last!

Also with the installation of the last pump vault the electrictian was able to finish, no more extension cords! I have 4 20 amp curcuits, one for each pump and one for air pumps and the Ebara pump that will serve as my settlement tank drain. You can also see the remote thermometer I have in this vault to keep track of pump temp. So far its running about 5 to 10 F. degrees above outside air temp. at the top of the vault where the hottest air in the vault should be.
